Apple should actually design software in addition to consumer electronics

So I have an Eject button (^) in the top right corner of my laptop keyboard.

What would you guess that it does? If your first guess, like mine, is that you can use it to eject the CD in iTunes, you would be wrong. That key doesn’t seem to do anythign in iTunes. There is a shortcut key to eject in iTunes, apparently it’s [apple-curly-square] E. Think different!

Has done this

Press and hold the Eject key to eject media. Works in iTunes as well as anywhere else.

Should do this

ah ha. I have to press and hold it as if it was a tape player, not type it as if it was a key on a keyboard.

Can I use it to “eject” an ipod?
