Well it’s here: the MacBook Air. It’s weighs 3 lbs, has a 13.3” screen, no internal optical drive, a 1.6 GHz C2D, and a non-removable 5 hour battery.
So what do you guys all think? Does it meet your expectations or are you left wanting more (or less)?
No, this is not at all what I want out of a subnotebook. being the same size as a MacBook, it is still considerably too large to be ideal. I wish Apple would build something along the size of the tiny Sony offerings, the ones that are similar to the EEE in size.
I’m starting to become content with the idea of getting one of the Sony models and simply running Ubuntu on it… (shudder)
