    Apple recently got all their laptop power supplies Energy Star-compliant, is phasing out the mercury from all their products and stopped selling CRT-based displays (a large source of lead). Apple laid out their future plans for greening up the company’s products at the link below.

    Apple is already the only major computer company to sell only energy selling LCD displays, and is one of the first companies to begin switching over to LED backlit LCDs. Also, Apple has a great recycling program in the United States—though this should definitely be expanded to other countries.
