We need two screens, easily changeable disks and modularity, but for regular people who don’t need much CPU power. Something in between the Mini and the Pro. Preferably closer in size to the Mini than to the Pro. I would buy five for my people right away; until then, I have to juggle between inadequate Minis, Pros, and older Macs.
Apple should make an affordable Mac mid Tower. It could serve a lot of markets including business, education, gamers, geeks. Some argue that it’d be too expensive for these markets but consider this: OSX is being crippled in potential by the lack of hardware options. If Apple doesn’t want to license OSX they might as well give us the most popular desktop form-factor which keeps striving in the PC world. If Apple cares so much about their users, be fair and let the users decide which desktop they prefer best.
