    It’s totally going to happen. They’ve got tons of patents related to touchscreen based computing. Check out this entry I wrote a while ago.

    As much as I’d like this, I don’t think it’s gonna happen. With any luck, the excellent ModBook ( http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ModBook ) will fulfill this role nicely, if it ever comes out. That is a thing of beauty.

    If Apple doesn’t come out with a Tablet PC soooon! I will be forced to buy a Windows-based one – probably either a Lenova X61 or a HP 2710p = ouch!!!

    I heard a couple of years ago they had submitted a patent. What’s keeping them? Just “perfecting” handwriting recognition? Or maybe their tablet is actually the iPhone.
